Creator and artistic director of Ardent dance company. Recently moved to Chicago from Northern Virginia, to pursue a career as a director and choreographer. Dancing since she was two years old under the direction of Cynthia Kiehnau at Virginia Civic Ballet dance studio. Studying the cecchetti method of ballet and passing her grades five out of eight of the examinations. In addition to dancing was very involved in her theatre program in high school, performing in school plays and musicals, and traveling with the theatre group. She has had the opportunity to work with other companies and intensives such as Maryland youth ballet, Virginia national ballet and encore performers. Throughout her dance career she has studied many different dance styles such as Ballet, Partnering, Cunningham, Horton, hip-hop, jazz, tap and musical theatre.
After high school she joined Virginia Civic Ballets professional company and Lindsey Taylor's modern dance company in Maryland. Miss Kelly taught for VCB and headed their jazz program for seven years and still goes back to guest choreograph for Cynthia Kiehnau and also running a competition team in va while living in Chicago. Miss Kelly has taught all over the DMV area and have received choreography awards and has had top placed dancers. Now in residing Chicago, starting Ardent dance company.
![]() Jacqueline DennisJacqueline grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. She studied under Nick Pupillo’s Visceral Studio Company in high school, before heading to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. After studying two years in North Carolina, Jacqueline transferred to Point Park University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance.
